The Unifying Logos Between Christianity and Indo-Aryan Spirituality

Many often believe Christianity to be somehow related to Judaism, hence the usage of the term “Judeo-Christian” is perceived by many as an accurate descriptor of the Christian Logos. But is this really the case?

An Unfair World?

A distinct contrasting quality between Christianity and Indo-Aryan spirituality is that Christians believes the world (i.e. the physical world) to be inherently unfair. Indo-Aryan spirituality, in contrast is premised on the belief that the world is inherently fair and draws upon a primordial metaphysical interpretation of actions and consequences in the past and present. Reincarnation and the paradigm of Samsara assumes the role of maintaining justice in the macrocosmic scheme of things within the Trailokya (Three Realms).

The Fall From “Eden”

The unifying logos between Christianity and (esoteric) Indo-Aryan spirituality lies in the shared belief that mankind has fallen from a primordial, divine state of being. The Satya Yuga can be equated as the creation of, in the microcosmic scale, the Trailokya (Three Realms) and in the macrocosmic scale, the Universe. The Treta Yuga can be interpreted as the stasis of the aforementioned Satya Yuga with minimal degeneration. Eventually, the Treta Yuga will degenerate into the Kali Yuga, an age where mankind, along with the universe has degenerated into a moral abyss. The last Kali Yuga coincided with the existence of the biblical civilization known as “Sodom and Gomorrah.”

Eschatological Consistencies

The Kali Yuga, despite being the most degenerate and unpleasant period of the Vedic Cycle. This period is described by Traditionalist scholar Julius Evola as a period when “the cults of Hades reigns supreme.” According to esoteric Buddhism, this period assumes the role as the heated furnace, “separating the pure gold from the contaminants.” This is sometimes referred to by Christians (in Matthew 25:31–46) as “separating the sheep from the goats.”

The Rider of The White Horse

In the Indo-Aryan tradition, Kalki (an incarnation of Vishnu) is believed to “bring an end to the Kali Yuga,” ushering in a new golden age (Satya Yuga) in the Universe. Kalki is prophesied to ride a white horse with a fiery sword in hand, bringing an end to the age of Adharma and restoring the next cycle of Satya Yuga. To many Christians, this description is consistent with Christian eschatology:

11I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. 14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” a He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Revelations 19:11-16

Conclusion

This all points to the theory that Christianity is Indo-Aryan in nature and not, as some would like to believe, “Abrahamic.” Siddartha Gautama came to Earth to preach the pure Indo-Aryan Dhama to the Brahmins, this upset the establishment religion at the time, Hinduism. Buddhism, thereafter became a persecuted minority. Likewise, the arrival of Christ upset the Jews, who at the time, were the establishment religion.

The present convoluting environment of secular modernity has reduced Indo-Aryan spirituality into a superficial system of meditation, “mindfulness” and/or a vehicle through which the cult of Atheism is perpetuated. Scholars have labelled the actual meaningful aspects of religions as “esoteric”, labelling the superficial as somehow the core meaning.

Only by investigating said “esoteric” literature, can you discover the unifying logos of creation, stasis, degeneration and destruction that the power at be hides from you in plain sight.
